Job Summary: As the Social Media Manager for Ooomay, you will be responsible for enhancing our brand presence and engaging with our audience. You will manage our instagram and facebook pages and create compelling content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Social Media Strategy: Create a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Ooomay's brand goals and target audience.
  • Content Creation: Design and curate engaging content across instagram and facebook. This includes images, videos, graphics, and written content.
  • Brand management: Actively engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions. Foster positive relationships with customers and influencers.
  • Create a content calendar: Plan and execute social media campaigns, including promotions, product launches, and seasonal campaigns, to drive brand awareness and sales.
  • Influencer Content Management: Identify, collaborate with, and manage relationships with influencers to obtain high-quality content for the brand. Ensure this content is effectively utilized across Instagram, Facebook, and for paid ads.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices. Experiment with new content formats and platforms to keep ooomay at the forefront of social media innovation.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Team: Work closely with the marketing team to ensure social media efforts are aligned with broader marketing and business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role in e-commerce or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative content ideas.
  • Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.).
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce and digital marketing concepts.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graphic design skills or experience with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Experience with influencer marketing.
  • Knowledge of content marketing.
